How Validle handles your data: what stays on your device, what leaves it, and your rights.

Who we are
Validle is a free game in beta, made in Belgium. The maker of Validle decides what happens to the data described here.
Questions or requests: hello@validle.com.
Your game stays with you
Your saved progress and your settings stay on your phone or in your browser. We never receive them.
Reset game in Settings erases your saved progress.
Feedback
Only when you send it. It holds your answers to the two questions, your text (at most 1,000 characters), Android, iOS or web, phone or laptop, your chapter and the app version. We add no name, email, wallet address or saved progress. Do not put personal information in your text.
Our server passes it on to the maker's Telegram chat and keeps nothing of it. Telegram is a company outside the EU. We delete feedback after 30 days.
Why: our legitimate interest in making the game better.
Opening the game
The website and our server run on EAS Hosting by Expo. Like every website, it sees your IP address when you open the game. The game also asks our server whether feedback is open.
To stop floods of requests, our server counts requests per network for at most 10 minutes. It keeps a scrambled code for a large group of addresses, never your IP address, and only in memory.
Expo keeps its own logs under its own privacy policy. Expo is a company in the United States, so this data can leave the EU.
Why: our legitimate interest in running and protecting the game.
App updates
Each time it starts, the Android app asks Expo for a new version (EAS Update). That request carries an installation ID that Expo's update code makes on your phone, the platform and the app version. After a failed start, it also carries the error message. Expo sees your IP address and is in the United States.
Why: to give you the game you installed, up to date.
Seeker Genesis Token (Android)
Only when you sign in with your Seeker. The app sends our server your wallet's public address and the sign-in message your wallet signed. That message holds our domain, your address, a random code and the 10 minutes in which it is valid. It never holds your seed phrase or private key.
Our server then checks on Solana mainnet whether that address holds a Seeker Genesis Token. This is a read only: it sends nothing to mainnet and changes nothing there. The check goes through an RPC provider, a company that runs Solana nodes. It sees the address our server asks about, not your IP address.
Mainnet is public, so anyone can link a token to the wallet that holds it.
Why: to give you what you asked for.
Saving your validator (Android)
Only when you save your validator on Solana. Your wallet app shows you the transaction first. Nothing is written until you approve it there.
Saving writes to Solana mainnet: your wallet's public address as the owner, the address of your Seeker Genesis Token, the number of your validator's face and the member number of that token.
Mainnet is public and permanent. Anyone can read what you saved, and we cannot erase it.
Why: to give you what you asked for.
What is not there
No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies and no account. We sell no data. No decisions about you are made automatically, and there is no profiling.
The website keeps your saved progress in your browser's own storage. The game needs that to work; it does not track you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, to limit its use or object to it, and to get it in a file. Mail hello@validle.com. We answer within one month.
Most data never reaches us: your saved progress stays on your device.
